From the sites we explored, we focused on the simplicity of some layouts and we consider incorporating that in our project. We found that organizing by time period and then type of source was more accessible and was easier to navigate, compared to simply listing it by each individual source.
We examined sites that specifically incorporated audio recordings. We like that you were able to skip around in the audio, change the volume, and that it wouldn’t take you to another tab when you click play.
We specifically liked the sites with less tabs to click on. Featuring a more sleek look and only providing a few buttons to click at a time. Then branching out to the different resources.
